I choose Regal Ancestor Spirit for its hauntingly beautiful design and atmospheric battle. While it is not essential to the main story, its ethereal nature leaves a lasting impression.

This boss is essentially an ancient dear spirit. It is a more powerful version of the Ancestor Spirit that resides in the Siofra River. However, this version of the boss resides in the Eternal City and has more abilities than its weaker counterpart.
The battle itself is amazing with a beautifully haunting soundtrack paired with the ghost-like design of the boss giving it a certain atmosphere that makes you remember it for just how truly beautiful this creature is.
One thing to note about this boss is that it is not required to be beaten to progress the story.

Why did I Choose Rykard?
The unique transformation and significant story impact might influenced my choice. Despite being mandatory, its unique design makes it one of a kind.
He is the true form of the God-Devouring Serpent. This version is the body taken over by the Lord of Blasphemy at Mount Gelmir. This boss is required to be beaten if you wish to progress in the main story of Elden Ring.
It has an interesting spawning method, in which this boss only appears after the first boss is completely killed and it is initiated right afterwards. The design of the boss is reminiscent of a virus that has overtaken a host with giant crimson tendrils and grotesque body modifications.

Her boss fight is mandatory to progress the storyline in Elden Ring. Even though she is considered to be an easy boss by most people her boss room and her moveset leave her as one to be remembered. Truly contending for the Elden Ring best bosses spot.

Despite its simplicity, I choose this for its scenic setting and memorable boss room, offering a visually appealing encounter.
4. Morgott, The Omen King

Why did I Choose Tree Sentinel?
I chose Tree Sentinel for it’s memorable challenge, being an early boss sets the tone for the game’s difficulty.
The Tree Sentinel is the first real boss encountered by the player. This boss is found in the outskirts of Limgrave riding atop his golden clad steed. He wields a giant golden Halberd and fights from horseback.
He is especially tough to kill in the very beginning of the game and the way most players beat him is by coming back to this optional boss after levelling up their character and being equipped with new gear.
This boss is not exceptionally hard in the grand scheme of bosses but it is noteworthy because it is the first boss we encounter that truly gives a sense of difficulty for the rest of the game and for that reason he is very memorable.
6. Starscourge Radahn

The sheer scale, thrilling attacks, and immersive nature of the battle makes it a top choice despite being a mandatory encounter.

Radahn is a hulking behemoth of a creature found in Caelid. He is a mandatory boss to progress through the story of Elden Ring. He is one of those bosses that makes your jaw drop to the floor by the sheer scale and magnitude of his attacks. You forget for a moment that this is a video game and hold your breath every time he telegraphs an attack only to doge it at the last frame.

Why did I Choose Rennala?
I choose Renala, Queen of the Full Moon for its two-phase fight and improved design, offering a more engaging battle compared to some others.
Rennala is a unique boss, to say the least. She is clearly inspired by the Cathedral of the Deep boss in Dark Souls 3. However, it appears that FromSoftware learned from their previous mistakes and this time after you defeat the first phase that resembles the Cathedral of the Deep you get to see a second phase.
This second phase is amazing in all aspects, the boss room where it takes place all the way to the moveset of Rennala. This is a fight that players will remember on their journey to claim the Elden Ring and can be called one of the best bosses.
She can be found in the Academy of Raya Lucaria.
8. Astel, Naturalborn of the Void
Best Boss for Cosmic Horror.
Why did I Choose Astel?
Astel’s eldritch horror design and unique aesthetics makes it a standout choice, despite being an optional encounter.

If you enjoy Eldrich horror then this will no doubt be your favourite boss fight in the entire game. Astel is if Orphan of Kos grew up and decide to hit the intergalactic gym. This boss is found in the Grand Cloister and its design speaks volumes to the design team’s creativity.
It is an optional boss but to ignore him would be a shame and a sin to any fan of the Soulsborne franchise. We personally consider this one of the best bosses, right next to an entry on this list that is slightly lower.

Why did I Choose Radagon of the Golden Order?
This boss stands out due to its emotional resonance and significant narrative impact despite having a simpler move set.
The first half of the final boss fight of Elden Ring. He is a broken and shattered god, known as the other half of the eternal Queen Marika. He is the man narrating the initial cutscene of the game and calls for the awakening of the tarnished.
In terms of a boss fight, he is one worthy to be remembered, not because of his outstanding moveset but rather the emotional connection, we the player have made over the course of the game, with the journey to reach this point.
Simply based on the expectations set up by the story and the payoff delivered by the boss, he is considered one of the greats.

Its breathtaking design and climactic nature as the final boss makes it a top choice, despite being the closing segment of the game.
The culmination of the entire game, the second and final part of the final boss fight in Elden Ring. This is the true form of the Elden Ring and acts as a messenger for the Greater Will in the Lands Between.
This boss can only be described as beautiful, from the design to the soundtrack to the boss room where the fight takes place. All of it can be summed up with the word: beautiful. A boss to look forward to fighting in any run of the game.
Why Others Were Not Chosen?
I skipped some bosses because they lacked significant narrative impact or felt too mandatory, which limits player choices. Others seemed less engaging due to simpler mechanics or familiarity from previous encounters. In the end, I picked the bosses that offered more profound storytelling, stunning visuals, and memorable fights, which is why they stood out among the rest.
What Would I Recommend?
As an experienced and an enthusiastic Elden Ring player, I would recommend two standout bosses from Elden Ring, Starscourge Radahn and Elden Beast would be my top choices. Radahn’s sheer scale, epic attacks, and the jaw-dropping moments during the battle make it an experience that truly showcases the grandeur of the game. Its colossal presence and the intensity of its attacks immerse players in a breathtaking encounter that embodies the essence of Elden Ring’s awe-inspiring boss fights.
Elden Beast, on the other hand, represents the culmination of the entire game. Its stunning design, coupled with the beautiful boss room and the haunting soundtrack, creates an atmosphere that’s as captivating as it is challenging. Engaging with this boss feels like a journey’s climax, offering not just a fight but an artistic spectacle that elevates the game’s essence. Both these bosses, in their own unique ways, encapsulate the essence of Elden Ring’s best moments, delivering memorable experiences that players won’t soon forget.
