What Is The Hogwarts Legacy Demiguise Moon

demiguise moons and demiguise statues refer to the same collectibles. You’ll encounter them multiple times throughout the game. The demiguise moon collectible resembles an owl-like creature holding a moon-like orb. Here’s a breakdown of when you’ll encounter them and how they relate to gameplay:

1. Introduction to Demiguise Moons: You’ll first encounter demiguise moons in the 22nd main quest, “The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament.” Gladwin Moon, the school caretaker, will introduce you to these collectibles and teach you the Alohomora spell.

2. Advancing Alohomora Spell Levels: After completing the main quest objectives, Gladwin Moon offers to help you improve the Alohomora spell if you assist him. This leads to the side quest, “The Man Behind The Moons,” where you exchange demiguise statues for higher levels of the Alohomora spell.

Here are the different levels of the Alohomora spell and the corresponding demiguise moon requirements:

• Alohomora Level 2: Collect 9 demiguise moons.
• Alohomora Level 3: Collect 13 demiguise moons.

Location 1: Pitt-Upon-Ford

• Second Demiguise Statue Location: The second demiguise statue is in Arranshire, a hamlet in the South Hogwarts Region.
• Navigation: Start by fast traveling to Arranshire. Look for the house on your left.
• Identification: The correct house will have a level 1 locked door.

Location 3: Hogsmeade Valley

The next statue is located inside a house in Upper Hogsfield in Hogsmeade Valley. The first thing you need to do is travel to the location shown on the map above. There you will see many houses. The house with the demiguise moon is the second house on the left.

To make things clearer, it is a single-story house with a carriage wheel sitting right beside the main entrance. Enter this house, and you will find the demiguise statue sitting on top of a wooden wheel.

Location 4: South Hogwarts Region

In the South Hogwarts Region, there’s another demiguise statue located inside a house in Lower Hogsfield within Hogsmeade Valley. Here’s how to find it:

1. Fast Travel: Begin by fast traveling to the marked location on the map.

2. Identify the House: Look for the house that is the first one slightly to the right as you head straight from the fast travel point. It should be distinguishable by several flower pots hanging beside the door and a bucket outside.

3. Locate the Statue: Once you’ve identified the correct house, go inside. The demiguise statue can be found next to the door. Be sure to take your time, as it may not be immediately visible without closing the door.

Location 5: Hogwarts Valley

Location Of The Demiguise Statue In Brocburrow

• Fourth Demiguise Statue Location: Head to Brocburrow in Hogwarts Valley.
• Navigation: Refer to the attached image for the exact location. Look for the house near the Merlin Trial.
• Identification: The correct house won’t have a lock on it.
• Confirmation: Upon entering the right house, your character will say, “Mine now, Demiguise,” indicating the presence of the demiguise moon you’re seeking.

Location 6: Hogwarts Valley

• Sixth Demiguise Statue Location: Located in Keenbridge, Hogwarts Valley.
• Navigation: Use fast travel to reach Keenbridge.
• Identification: Find a secluded cottage with a carriage by its fence.
• Visual Clues: Look for pumpkins in the area surrounding the cottage.
• Access: Use the level 1 Alohomora spell to unlock the cottage.
• Locating the Statue: Inside the house, you’ll find the demiguise moon on a table, ready for collection.

Location 7: Feldcroft Region

The next demiguise moon is located inside a house in Irondale in the Feldcroft region. The house in question is the first one that you see on the right as you arrive at the floo flame point. To ensure that you do not have any trouble finding the house, you should know that the house will have a bunch of crates outside of it as well as a barrel sitting right beside the entrance.

Once you have found the right house, go inside, and you will find the demiguise statue behind the kitchen counter.

Location 8: Marunweem Lake Region

Another one of the demiguise statues can be found inside a house in Marunweem in the Marunweem Lake region. Even though there are not many houses in the region, the demiguise statue is inside a house that has several cauldrons sitting on top of each other and clothes hanging just outside.

We are sure that you will have no trouble finding the house. Anyways once you find the house, simply head inside, as the door will be unlocked. Then all that you need to do is go to the far left corner of the room, and you will find the demiguise below the shelf that has bottles sitting on it.

Location 9: Hogsmeade

The next Hogwarts Legacy demiguise moon that we will be talking about can be found in Tomes and Scrolls bookshop in Hogsmeade. We are sure that you will have no trouble finding the shop as you can easily find it on the map or come across it while you are exploring Hogsmeade.

Anyways, once you are there, head inside the shop, and go to the shopkeeper’s bedroom, which will be on the left side of the reception. Look around the room, and you will see the demiguise moon that you came looking for resting on top of the dressing table right beside the furnace.

Unlock Level 2 Alohomora Spell

With that, you will have successfully collected 9 Hogwarts Legacy demiguise moons. That means that you should now take these to Gladwin Moon, and he will upgrade your Alohomora spell to level 2. This will enable you to access more and more locked doors.

If you are having trouble finding Gladwin Moon, you should simply go to the Faculty Tower, through the south wing, in Hogwarts Castle.

Location 10: Hogsmeade

• Level 2 Alohomora Spell: With the level 2 Alohomora spell, you can unlock level 2 locks.
• Demiguise Statue Location: The next demiguise statue is inside a house located in an alley north of Tomes and Scrolls and south of Ollivanders.
• Identification: Look for a house with a level 2 lock on its door.
• Access: Use your level 2 Alohomora spell to unlock the door.
• Locating the Statue: Inside the house, head up to the bedroom via the stairs next to the door, and you’ll find the demiguise moon on top of a drawer.

Location 11: Hogsmeade

• Hog’s Head Pub Demiguise Statue: Located in the Hog’s Head pub in Hogsmeade.
• Navigation: It’s situated in the western corner of Hogsmeade, easily recognizable by the “Hog’s Head” signage and a large hog’s head symbol atop the building.
• Access: Enter the pub and proceed to the room directly behind the counter.
• Locating the Statue: In that room, you’ll find the demiguise statue resting on top of the crates, ready to be collected.

Location 12: Hogsmeade

Another demiguise statue can be found inside a house in Hogsmeade. The house in question is right next to the J. Pippin Potion Shop. You will know you are at the right house if it has a level 2 lock.

Once you find the house, use your level 2 Alohomora spell and enter the house. Once inside, head up the stairs, and you will find the demiguise statue resting on a dresser on the left side of the room.

Location 13: Three Broomsticks

The next demiguise moon can be found in the Three Broomsticks inn in Hogsmeade. Once you get to the inn, go inside and take the stairs all the way to the top. There, you will find a door with a level 1 lock on it. Use your Alohomora spell, and the Hogwarts Legacy demiguise moon that you came looking for will be on the table in front of the fireplace.

Location 14: House Next To Three Broomsticks

Another one of the demiguise statues is located close to where you found the last demiguise statue. To be more precise, it is located inside a house right next to the Three Broomsticks. You will know you are at the right house if it has a street light right in front of it and a level 1 lock.

Go inside this house after using your Alohomora spell. Once there, head up the stairs, and you will find the demiguise statue on a table on the left side of the room.

Location 15: Dervish And Banges

To get this demiguise moon, go to Hogsmeade square. There, you will need to go inside the Dervish and Banges shop. You will not miss this shop as it has a massive board outside with the name labeled on it. Anyways, once you go inside, you will see the demiguise moon on the shopkeeper’s counter.

Location 16: Hogsmeade

The next demiguise statue is located inside a house. To get the said demiguise statue, head to the location shown on the map below. Once you get there, you will see the house has a level 1 lock on it. Therefore, you should use your Alohomora spell, go inside, and you will see the demiguise statue resting on top of a table just below a picture.

Location 17: House Near Bridge

To get this demiguise statue, you need to head to the house that is close to the northeastern bridge. We have also attached a picture down below to give you a clearer understanding of the house we are talking about.

Another thing that you need to keep in mind is that house in question will have a level 1 lock on it. Anyways, once you find the right house, head inside using your Alohomora spell, and you will find the demiguise statue resting on top of a shelf above the fireplace.

Location 18: Feldcroft Region

The next demiguise statue is located inside a house in Feldcroft town. The house that we are talking about is situated opposite the floo flame. You will know you are at the right house if you see a level 2 lock on it.

Enter the house using your level 2 Alohomora spell, and you will see the demiguise moon inside a window on the left side of the room.

Location 19: Bainburgh

• Nineteenth Demiguise Moon Location: Inside a house in Bainburgh, Manor Cape.
• Navigation: Head slightly northeast from the fast floo point in Bainburgh.
• Identification: Look for the house in front of the vendor with metal cages and cauldrons outside and a level 1 lock.
• Access: Unlock the house using the Alohomora spell.
• Locating the Statue: Inside, you’ll find the demiguise statue on a small table next to one of the chairs in front of the fireplace.

Location 20: Cragcroft

• Cragcroft Statue Location: In Cragcroft, Cragcroftshire.
• Navigation: Head northwest from the floo flame point and locate vendor Bella Navarro on your mini-map.
• Identification: The house is right next to Bella Navarro’s vendor spot.
• Access: No locks on the house; simply enter.
• Locating the Statue: Go upstairs, and you’ll find the demiguise statue on the bedside table, ready to be collected.

Location 21: Gryffindor Tower

Location 23: Divination Classroom

The next demiguise statue in Hogwarts can be found in the Divination Classroom. To get it, fast travel there. From the floo flame location, you should head up the stairs, and you will see a ladder drop down the wall as you reach the top.

Take this ladder up to the classroom. Once there, look around for the teacher’s desk. Once you spot the desk, you will see the demiguise statue resting on top of it as well. Jump across the tables in your way and grab the demiguise statue that you came all this way for.

Unlock Level 3 Alohomora Spell

• Alohomora Spell Upgrade: With the 13 collected Hogwarts Legacy demiguise moons, visit Gladwin Moon to upgrade your Alohomora spell to level 3.
• Enhanced Lock Opening: Level 3 Alohomora allows you to open almost any lock, removing obstacles.
• Gladwin Moon’s Message: Upon receiving the spell upgrade, Gladwin Moon states, “With this knowledge, no lock shall ever stand in your way.”
• Completionists: Collect the remaining demiguise statues for the Demiguise Dread Trophy if you desire to go the extra mile.

Location 24: Library Annex

This one is also found in the Library Annex. To acquire it, follow these steps:

1. Use the Potions Classroom Floo Flame.
2. Head through the door directly in front of you.
3. Take a sharp left turn and locate a set of stairs leading downstairs.
4. Proceed downstairs to find a door with a level 1 lock on it. Use your Alohomora spell to unlock it.
5. This door leads to another hallway. Walk down this hallway.
6. On your left, you’ll encounter a door with a level 2 lock. Again, use the Alohomora spell to unlock it.
7. The demiguise moon you’ve been searching for will be on a wooden box right in front of you, ready to be collected.

Location 25: Restricted Section (Library)

To get the next demiguise moon, you will need to head into the restricted section of the library. Once there, look around for an eye chest because the demiguise statue that you want will be on a table just past this eye chest.

Location 26: Beasts Classroom

• Hogwarts Bell Tower Wing Moon: Located in the Bell Tower Wing in Hogwarts.
• Navigation: Start by fast traveling to the Beasts Classroom.
• Demiguise Detection: Use Revalio or search for a door with a level 2 lock.
• Unlocking Access: Use the Alohomora spell to open the locked door.
• Finding the Statue: Inside the building, you’ll find the Hogwarts Legacy demiguise moon, ready to be collected.

Location 27: Hogwarts North Exit

There is another demiguise moon in the Bell Tower Wing. However, to get it, you will need to use the Hogwarts North Exit floo flame. From there, you should check the wall below the nearby stairs for a door with a level 1 lock on it.

Once you find it, use your Alohomora spell to get inside, and the demiguise statue will be resting on a wooden crate in the room.

Location 28: Transfiguration Courtyard

• Transfiguration Courtyard Demiguise Statue: Fast travel to the Transfiguration Courtyard.
• Navigation: From the fast travel point, turn around and enter the door in front of you.
• Direction: Slightly turn right and proceed toward the room next to the stairs.
• Identification: The correct room will have a level 2 lock on its door.
• Access: Use the Alohomora spell to unlock the door.
• Locating the Statue: Inside the room, you’ll find the demiguise statue on a desk to the left.

Location 29: Muggle Studies

• Transfiguration Courtyard Demiguise Moon: Accessible through the Transfiguration Courtyard fast travel point.
• Navigation: Turn left from the courtyard fast travel point and enter the North Hall through the prominent door in front of you.
• Direction: Continue straight and descend the stairs leading to the dungeons.
• Turn Right: At the end of the stairs, turn right.
• Identify the Room: Look for the first room on your left with a level 1 lock on its door.
• Access: Unlock the door using your Alohomora spell.
• Locating the Moon: Inside, you’ll find the demiguise moon on the right side of the door, resting on top of a drawer.

Location 30: Professor Fig’s Office
