You can find the Thaen Seed in the Widow’s Court area of Yaesha. First, locate a corpse who has a note and an Ornate Key in his hands. Take it; your next task will be to find that Ornate Lockbox.
Wander around in the underground region of the Widow’s Court; the Ornate Box will be lying somewhere around there. Upon exploring the area, you will encounter a waterfall. There will be a hidden corridor behind it. Pass through there, and it will lead to a wall, break it to reveal another fake/illusory wall.
Go through that wall and the Ornate Box will be there. Once you get your hands on the box, I want you to use the key and it will open up and the Thaen Seed will be there.

There are two major uses of the seed. Both have their own benefits and rewards, and you can go with the one that seems better for you.
Planting In Ward 13
- The first option is to plant the seed in the specified spot in Ward 13. To do this, go to the small farm in Ward 13. You will find a few people farming there, and there will be a free spot left for you to plant a seed there yourself.
- Go to that spot and press “E” to open the inventory and select the Thaen Seed for planting. Once done, a tree will grow at its place bearing a special fruit, “Mature Thaen Fruit.”
- Consuming this fruit will revive the player when dead with 30% of his health and immunity to the STATUS effects for the 30s.
- The Mature Thaen Fruit can also age, making its effects even stronger as it grows.
- I can tell from my experience, This process will take some time, so you should keep progressing the game’s story and visit it occasionally to see if the fruit has grown.
- This option is ideal as it gives a resurrection chance without any demerits.
Giving To Queen At Red Throne
The other choice is to give the seed to the Queen on the Red Throne. The Queen will reward you by making all Pan Warriors friendly, which means they won’t attack you anymore. Although, this is not a big deal.
Another reward is the “Burden of the Rebel” ring, which is one of the accessories in Remnant 2. It has the following effects:

- Reduces Relic use speed by 25%
