The Warped Sword in Dark Souls 2 is hands down one of the best boss soul weapons you can get, and it’s a top pick for those who favor Dexterity-based builds. I got mine from Straid Of Olaphis by trading in the Flexile Sentry Soul along with 1500 souls. To wield it effectively, you’ll need a Dexterity level of at least 25 and a Strength level of at least 15. If you want to power it up even further, you can upgrade it all the way to +5 using Petrified Dragon Bone.

What makes this sword shine is its lightning-fast moveset, mainly consisting of quick slash attacks. It’s got this unique 4-hit L2 combo when paired with specific weapons, which is a neat trick. Plus, it boasts the highest counter damage among all curved swords in Dark Souls 2, and it dishes out some serious poise damage for its class.

Whether you’re facing tough PvE challenges or engaging in intense PvP battles, the Warped Sword doesn’t disappoint. I found that it plays exceptionally well with other weapons that have unique R2 attacks. This means you can keep those unique moves even when you’re rocking the Warped Sword in your left hand.

Now, my personal favorite combo is pairing the Warped Sword with the Washing Pole. It gives me fantastic reach and allows me to wield two Warped Swords simultaneously. Just like the Warped Sword, I got my hands on this beauty from Straid Of Olaphis, forking over 1500 souls and the souls of the Pursuer himself. To wield it effectively, you’ll need some serious brawn with at least 30 Strength and 18 Dexterity. This makes it a top-notch choice for those who focus on strength-based quality builds. And, like many boss soul weapons, you can take it up to +5 with Petrified Dragon Bone.

Early in the game, this sword is a beast, packing one of the hardest punches around. Once you’ve got your Strength and Dexterity both at 40, a +5 Pursuer’s Ultra Greatsword boasts one of the highest damage outputs you’ll find in Dark Souls 2. Its moveset is a bit on the slow side, featuring slashes and thrusts, which makes it a stellar option for PvE encounters. However, in PvP, it might leave you wanting, as its slower attack speed can be a drawback. It does take a bit of practice to get the hang of its timing.

The Curved Dragon Greatsword is a Curved greatsword in Dark Souls 2. This is one of the most underrated Boss Soul Weapons in Dark Souls 2. You can get it crafted from weaponsmith Ornifex by using the Ancient Dragon Soul.

The Curved Dragon Greatsword can be upgraded to +5 using Petrified Dragon Bone. Along with a unique moveset consisting of slash and thrust attacks, it also has a very powerful unique special attack with a lot of range that knocks down most enemies in Dark Souls 2.

It required a Strength level of at least 30 and a Dexterity level of at least 18, making it a very solid quality weapon. On top of all this, this is also a very good looking weapon, arguably one of the greatest in Dark Souls 2. All in all, the Curved Dragon Greatsword is a fine choice for most quality players.

Another extremely underrated weapon in our Dark Souls 2 Boss Souls weapons guide. Yorgh’s spear is the weapon I had the most fun with in Dark Souls 2. You can get this weapon by giving Weaponsmith Ornifex the soul of Sinh, The Slumbering Dragon and 14,000 souls.

Yorgh’s spear requires a Strngth level of at least 30 and a Dexterity level of at least 25, making it a quality weapon. You can upgrade it to +5 using Petrified dragon bone. Its moveset consists primarily of quick thrust attacks.

If you go for a pure quality build with both Strength and Dexterity at level 40, the Yorgh’s spear will be dealing some of the highest combo damage in the game. Its long range and quick moveset make it a great weapon for all PvE and PvP situations.

Yorghs spear is certainly a contender for the best Quality weapon in the game, and easily one of the best Boss Soul weapons in Dark Souls 2.

You can upgrade it to +5 using Petrified Dragon bone. To use this weapon, you need a strength level of 40, Dexterity, Intelligence and Faith levels should be level 12.

You can upgrade the Sacred Chime Hammer to +5 with the Petrified Dragon Bone. Its moveset consists of overhead smashes and spinning sweep attacks.

This weapon’s R2 attacks casts affinity, which releases a number of Dark Orbs that home in towards your enemy and cause damage. Affinity is scaled with Intelligence and Strength. This weapon is one of the hardest hitters in Dark Souls 2, causing ridiculous damage.
