Hogwarts Legacy features 20 landing platforms where you can land your broom or mount. But where are these landing platforms? In this guide, we take a look at all 20 Hogwarts Legacy landing platform locations and the best ways to reach them.
Key Takeaways
- Hogwarts Legacy has 20 landing platforms in total.
- You first need to unlock landing platforms by completing the Flying Class Main Quest.
- After landing on 2, 4, 6, and 8 landing platforms you get the Quidditch Captain’s Uniform, Helmet, Gloves, and Cape respectively.
Landing Platforms are landing pads on which you can land using your broom or mount. On the map, these will have a symbol of a broom with a crosshair around it.
Physically, these will usually be raised platforms with several concentric rings and an inner ring with a star shape in the middle.
Unlocking Landing Platform
Can’t see any landing platforms on the map? That’s because you need to unlock them first. Luckily, unlocking landing platforms is quite easy. All you need to do is complete the Flying Class Main Quest. This will finally let you unlock the broom and hence all of the landing platforms.

But what do landing platforms do? Indeed, you don’t need landing platforms to land with your broom. You can land anywhere you want. However, landing on a landing platform is required if you want to complete the Challenges.
The Challenges have 4 tiers divided as the following:
- Tier 1: Requires 2 landing platforms. Reward: Quidditch Captain’s Uniform.
- Tier 2: Requires 4 landing platforms. Reward: Quidditch Captain’s Helmet
- Tier 3: Requires 6 landing platforms. Reward: Quidditch Captain’s Gloves.
- Tier 4: Requires 8 landing platforms. Reward: Quidditch Captain’s Cape.

North Hogwarts Region Landing Platforms

Landing Platform 1
The first landing platform here can be reached through two paths. These are through the Jackdaw’s Tomb Floo Flame and the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame.
- From the Jackdaw’s Tomb Floo Flame, travel Southwest just past the Small Bandit Camp to reach the landing platform.
- From the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame, travel Northwest.
- If you do this right, the landing platform is the first thing you’ll come across.
- If you haven’t unlocked those Floo Flames, you can also use the Korrow Ruin’s Floo Flame, though it will take longer to reach.
- Travel East from the Floo Flame until you reach the treasure vault.
- Then, go directly North and then turn slightly West near the stream.

Then, keep going East until you find the Merlin Trial. From here, head North, past another Merlin Trial, until you reach an Ancient Magic Hotspot. From here, simply go East, and the landing platform should be close by.

You can also reach the area using the Marunweem Ruins Floo Flame. However, you’ll need to fly over the water. From the Floo Flame, you have two options. First, go West (past the island with the treasure vault) until you reach the shore. Then, follow the shore to the very crux of the peninsula.
Alternatively, you can travel directly North until you reach the other side of the water and then follow the shoreline West to get to the peninsula.
