Hogwarts Legacy Musical Map Treasure Guide

Hogwarts Legacy lets you perform a variety of side quests for rewards. Solved by the Bell is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy. It includes a treasure map called the Musical Map that directs you to a problem that must be completed to get a treasure.

Here’s how you obtain the treasure in Hogwarts Legacy using the Musical Map!

Solved By The Bell Sidequest

Requirements:

To get to this quest you must first finish a quest and get a few spells. Here’s the list of things you must have:

1. The 9th main quest: Tomes and Tribulations
2. Incendio Spell
3. Glacious Spell
4. Arresto Momentum Spell

You must locate the Musical Map within Henrietta’s Hideout to begin the mission. Simply proceed to the location indicated by the quest marker on your map, which is south of Manor Cape, and enter the dungeon.

Here are all the steps that you need to do to get the musical map:

1. Your first challenge will include arranging spell cubes on platforms.
2. There will be a brazier inside Henrietta’s Hideaway in front of a statue. Set the brazier on fire using the Incendio spell.
3. The cube must then be located and placed on the platform using the Accio spell.
4. On the cube’s left side, cast Incendio, and on the other, Glacius.
5. Next, ascend the stairs to reach a chamber filled with enemies. Stop them so you can keep going.
6. Use Arresto Momentum to halt the floor immediately since the room will turn against you. Keep your guard up since there will be other evil wizards around.
7. A shattered stone wall will open to reveal a secret area that has our musical map.

That is the map there that you must use to begin the Solved by the Bell side quest!

Here is what you must do before attempting to solve the musical bells:

1. You must travel to the Clagmar Coast. Locate Clagmar Castle and reach there.
2. Take out the several evil wizards in the region.
3. Reach the bells in the southwest when the area is clear and play the tune notated on the musical map.

A musical notation serves as the map’s hint. Don’t worry if you can’t read music; the pattern is straightforward. Here’s a simple way to do it:

1. Try to think of the bells as numbers from bottom to top. There are 9 bells.
2. Let’s say the one at the bottom is the 1st one.
3. And the one at the top is the 9th.
4. The order in which you play the melody is:
   2, 5, 7, 6, 5, 9, 8, 6

You will immediately recognize the melody as it is the first phrase of the Harry Potter Theme. After you play the melody on the bells, the notes will play themselves one more time. Lastly, you will hear the sound of the chest unlocking itself.

My Experience

This is how to utilize the musical map to uncover riches in the Solved by the Bell quest in Hogwarts Legacy. It is time-consuming and difficult. But I would say it was worth the effort because of the 400 Galleons and XP rewards.
