The Krell Axe is a mighty heavyweight axe that, on the surface, deals minimal damage. But once you realize that it has its unique Weapon Mod, you recognize the potential of this melee weapon.
This weapon has the Krell Edge Weapon Mod that lets you charge the axe. Then, you can throw the axe and apply the Overloaded state to the axe on hit. The axe will then deal 50 Shock Damage in 2 spurts, with each damage burst happening after every 5 seconds.
After throwing the axe, another similar Krell Axe appears in your hand. This Weapon Mod costs 25 Stamina to cast. The Mod cannot be moved, and another one cannot be added. But you can apply any Mutator you like.

The Weapon Mode is called Bloodthirst. When you hit enemies that have the Bleeding status debuff on them, you deal 25% more damage. Additionally, this damage increases further when you hit them from the back.
And that’s not all. Charged melee attacks against enemies deal 200 additional Bleeding damage over 10 seconds. However, it doesn’t feature any default Mutator. And the damage scaling is very weak, with the max Level being 10. And at Level 10, its damage output is only 82.

The Atom Splitter is a much-needed upgrade from the Atom Smasher. Thanks to its Fission Strike Weapon Mod, this weapon can split straight down atoms and cause nuclear reactions.
The Mod makes the Atom Splitter release a wave of stored nuclear energy upon a Neutral Evade. This wave travels for 20 meters and inflicts 150 damage to all enemies in the area. Charged Neutral Evade Attacks will also boost the wave range threefold and the damage by a quarter.
The Mod cannot be removed but feel free to experiment with the Mutator. At Level 10, the damage of this weapon doubles to 200 damage.

Godsplitter appears to be extremely weak. However, when you discover its Weapon Mod, you’ll soon realize its power. Its unique Weapon Mod is called Fracture, which enhances your Charge Attacks.
After casting a Charge Attack, all of your melee attacks from Godsplitter will be Weakspot hits. This effect lasts 2 seconds, but the duration can increase if the number of fragments increases. The maximum period of this state is 35 seconds with max fragments.
With its Weak Spot Damage bonus of +50%, you can understand why this weapon is so powerful.

Hero’s Sword

Hero’s Sword is a mighty sword with a relatively weaker Weapon Mod. But considering that it’s the starting weapon for the Explorer Archetype, just the fact that it has a Weapon Mod in the first place is enough to overpower it.
This sword has the Energy Wave Weapon Mod, which allows you to release a wave of energy that damages all enemies it hits with every Charge Attack. This significantly increases your range and lets you take on enemy hordes. It does take up 35 Stamina, though.

Nightshade

Nightshade is a set of gauntlets that damage a single target but with extreme speed and agility. These have the “Beyond The Veil” Weapon Mod.
The Beyond The Veil Weapon Mod turns you into a shadow assassin. Through this Mod, your Neutral Evades turn you into amist. Not only does this enhance your dodging abilities, but it also grants a 5% Lifesteal. This means that 5% of Nightshades base damage gets converted into your HP. This effect only lasts 5 seconds.
Moreover, when you do a Perfect Dodge, the Lifesteal buff lasts 10 seconds instead.

Red Doe Staff

The Red Doe Staff contains the soul of a healing Red Doe. This magical staff has a broader area of action and an impressive damage output for a primarily healing weapon.
It has the Lifeline Weapon Mod that releases the Red Doe spirit once you’ve dealt 250 damage and cast a Charge Attack. The Red DOe spirit moves forward in a straight line, healing 10% of your allies’ Health and dealing 160 damage to foes.

Spectral Blade

The Spectral Blade is a shiny laser sword with a sleek, long body paired with a sharp edge that can cut through paper. It features the Whirlwind Weapon Mod, which creates a Whilrwild whenever you perform a Neutral Backdash Charge.
The Whirlwind will strike foes several times as long as they are within an 8-meter radius of you. The strikes deal combined damage of 75. The Spectral Blade doesn’t have any Mutators attached to it.

Stonebreaker
- Damage: 103

- How To Get: Acquire a Hollow Heart, 650 Scrap, and 7 Lumenite Crystal. Craft the Stonebreaker at the McCabe Store.
As the name implies, Stonebreaker is a mighty sword powerful enough to tear down stones and massive boulders. This sword features the Faultline Weapon Mod, which makes the ground quake after using a Charge Attack.
The shockwaves deal 115 damage to enemies in the area, but you’ll need 35 Stamina to cast them. This Weapon Mod cannot be changed, nor can you remove it from this weapon. You can, however, experiment with the Mutator.

Gas Giant
- Damage: 74
- Weak Spot Damage: +95%
- Critical Hit Chance: 3%
- Stagger Modifier: 8%
- How To Get: Go to N’erud and let Tal’rotha devour you. Then, you’ll need to fight his new form. Once defeated, he will drop an Acidic Jawbone. You can use this to craft Gas Giant at McCabe’s workshop.
Gas Gaint is a massive hammer designed to deal heavy corrosive damage to enemies. It does not back out when it comes to melting foes instantly.
This melee weapon comes with the Dying Breath Weapon Mod that cannot be unequipped or swapped out. When you infuse it, the Neutral Backdash Charge Attacks will detonate in a 3-meter radius.
These deal damage to all enemies in the area. Additionally, a cloud of acid damages all enemies and lasts about 15 seconds.
