Classic Star Wars Game Heading to Nintendo Switch Eshop

The tactical first-person shooter Star Wars: Republic Commando, an Xbox and PC classic, is maybe heading its way to the Nintendo Switch eshop. Nintendo Switch data miner NWPlayer123 discovered that the game had been added to the Nintendo store servers.

Additionally, it was discovered that Aspyr Media is publishing Star Wars: Republic Commando. Aspyr Media has ported the likes of Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Star Wars: Racer.

Star Wars: Republic Commando follows the story of Delta squad, an elite group of clone commandos. Which takes place within the Clone Wars time period. The game released in 2005 and was received with great reviews. The game is both single player and multiplayer and features tactical gameplay. The player must command Delta squad to carry out tasks within missions.

No price has been released yet for the Nintendo Switch version. However, we can speculate that the game will be around $19.99 by looking at other Star Wars Switch ported games. You can also play Star Wars: Republic Commando Enhanced edition on Xbox One.
