The RPK, designed as an Assault Rifle despite being a Light machine gun, offers better handling than most LMGs. Unlocking it requires leveling up the Kastov 762 to Level 16.
While it has the worst TTK among LMGs in Warzone 2.0, the RPK’s precise accuracy, good handling, and damage range mitigate its shortcomings. It excels in medium-range combat but falls short at long distances.
For an optimized loadout:
- Muzzle: Kastovia DX90 for improved TTK and bullet velocity, with sound suppression for mid-close range stealth.
- Barrel: TAC 597 Barrel enhances bullet velocity and hip fire accuracy, along with increased movement speed.
- Underbarrel: FTac Ripper 56 improves hip fire accuracy, recoil stabilization, and aiming stability for medium-range engagements.

If you are a close-range combat person, HCR 56, one of the lightest LMGs in the bunch is perfect for you. It won’t only give you built-in mobility, but also a good ADS along with the fastest reload speed out of all LMGs.
Despite having all these pros you wonder, why is it in the least pickable LMGs this meta? The answer is simple, the more the range, the less damage, and accuracy HCR 56 will give off.
For an optimized loadout:
- Barrel: Bruen Turaco 686mm for increased damage range, recoil control, and bullet velocity, making it viable for medium-range engagements.
- Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40 reduces horizontal and vertical recoil for better close-range performance.
- Underbarrel: FTac Ripper improves aim accuracy, recoil stabilization, and hip fire accuracy for faster kills in short-range encounters.
- Rear Grip: STIP-40 Grip sacrifices a small amount of aim stability for improved recoil control, crucial for the HCR 56.
- Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic provides 4.0x magnification for better targeting at longer ranges, enhancing versatility in various combat scenarios.

6. RAPP H
Highest Fire Rate LMG.
Why did I choose RAPP H?
RAPP H offers a high fire rate, TTK, and handling at the cost of mobility and reload time.

RAPP H Stats Table.
The heaviest LMG, opposite of what HCR 56 was, is called RAPP H. The gun is bad at handling, has terrible accuracy even with attachments, and slows down players immensely due to its heavy weight.
So, if the opponent has a mobility advantage and a better accuracy weapon, the chances of winning that combat are slim. RAPP H does have a high fire rate that assists in quick TTKs, but overall gameplay with RAPP H is sluggish or snail-paced.
RAPP H might be the last on my list, but if you want to try it out regardless, I have the best loadout for it which will improve the gun’s qualities in some areas.
Best Loadout For RAPP H
- Muzzle: Polarfire-S
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple Underbarrel
- Stock: FT Mobile Stock
- Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10 Grip
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
One of the few plus points of RAPP H is its high fire rate, so pair it with Polarfire-S for Bullet Velocity to reach its full potential and improve TTK. The muzzle will also increase the Damage Range and improve Recoil Smoothness for its terrible built-in accuracy. For more accuracy and steadiness while shooting opponents, equip a VX Pineapple under the barrel.
As already mentioned, RAPP H fails to provide movement speed due to its heavy weight. To overcome this negative aspect of the gun, equip FT Mobile Stock attachment. Aim Walking, Crouch Movement Speed, Sprint Speed, and ADS are boosted up all from this Stock attachment.
To further work on the Recoil of the RAPP H, attach a Lachmann TCG-10 Rear Grip. To get a better aim and precise sight, make sure to attach an FSS OLE-V Laser. Hopefully, the suggested loadout will guide you to victory with the worst LMG in Warzone 2 currently.

Why Others Were Not Choosen?
- DG-58 LSW: It’s weak in close-range combat, with high recoil and low mobility that makes it difficult to handle.
- TAQ Evolvere: Slow fire rate and high recoil make it hard to take fights in close range.
- Bruen MK9: High horizontal recoil, sluggish handling, and high reload time give a tough time to players in certain situations.
What Would I Recommend?
All six LMGs are frequent picks, making players wonder which one of them is the best LMGs. I have mentioned why some LMGs are better than others and what loadout can improve each LMG further on.
The best LMG and possibly the best weapon in Warzone 2 right now is RAAL MG but that doesn’t mean you don’t try out other fun LMGs available. Even the sluggish RAPP H is fun to play with the right attachments.
