Yura Quest Elden Ring

To find Yura, you need to go to The First Step. The closest waypoint that we think you can take is from Agheel Lake through the woods. Once you reach The First Step, head over to the underside of the bridge, and you will see Yura right next to the fire. Talk to him, and your quest will start.

He will, however, warn you of the Agheel Lake Dragon and how you must avoid him at all cost. So he’ll warn you to avoid the dragon that’s close by and stay clear from the lake, but if you’re that manly, you can take a head-on collision with the mighty dragon.

Reduvia Dagger

Yura Quest Elden Ring
Although the Reduvia Dagger is pointy and small, it does insane damage when it is Dual-Wielded!

The next step you have to do after talking to Yura is to take the path of the lake that leads straight to another structure point where you will find him again. You should know early on that this is the part, and the first step, where you will find yourself a Reduvia Dagger.

That’s right; you’ll be able to get this weapon from an invader, Bloody Finger, while crossing the path of the lake. He will invade you once you travel a bit. After fighting with Bloody Finger for a while, you will be assisted by Yura himself, where you both will take him down.

The thought of running into allies in Elden Ring is truly awesome. The experience alone is unique to have Yura as our partner during his questline. Once you and Yura defeat Bloody Finger, he will drop the Reduvia Dagger. Now, this dagger applies one of the deadliest effects in the game, which is bleed. It’s very easy to dual-wield these daggers and still have your weight minimized. It does 79 physical and scales off of Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane, which is amazing.

Raya Lucaria

Anyways, after you defeat the invader, you need to follow the stream till you reach the end of the cave that’s nearby. You’ll be able to find Yura inside of the cave, talk to him and hear what he says. He rants about how he is the killer of Bloody Fingers, talks about the Tarnished, and warns about more enemies that linger on the path you have chosen for the Yura Quest Elden Ring.

So, after talking to him at the cave, you need to head over to Raya Lucaria, and in case you don’t know how to enter through the gate, you will need a Glintstone Key. Once you obtain the key and unlock the gate, you can rest at first sight of grace.

After that, walk over the broken bridge and find the item that says “summoned to assist Yura: killer of Bloody Fingers.” Only this time, you will be helping him fight Bloody Finger. When you find the item, it will spawn you to the fight between Yura and Bloody Finger so you can aid him in battle.

Ash of War: Raptor of the Mists

Yura Quest Elden Ring
It will grant you the Keen ability which will allow you to increase the Dexterity on your weapon.

Defeating the invader will give you a Rune Arc along with a Furkalling Finger Remedy. Once you return to your world, you will be gifted with the Ash of War: Raptor of the Mists. To continue the Yura Quest Elden Ring, you will be able to find Yura again on the same bridge. Talk to him again, and he will thank you for helping him in his fight against the Bloody Finger, and as a token of his appreciation, he will gift you with five Smithing Stones.

He will also mention Eleonora and how he has been tracking her for quite some time, warning you not to cross paths because she is the deadliest among the Bloody Fingers. So the next step is to find Eleonora at the Second Church of Marika.

Second Church of Marika: Finding Eleonora

However, in order to get over to the Second Church, you will need to activate and use the Grand Lift of Dectus. If you don’t know how to activate it, you will need to find two halves of the Dectus Medallion. For the first one, you need to shift your attention to Fort Height, which is in the bottom right-hand corner of the upper Limb Grave map. You need to run through the fort and skip all the enemies that cross your path.

Enter the tower and climb the ladder, and on top of that, there is a chest, and you open that, and you get the left half of the Medallion. Following on from there, you’re going to be heading over to Fort Faroth. The same principle here; you need to run through the fort and go to the very top.

Admittedly this is a more substantial area, and the enemies do hit hard, so depending on when you’re doing this in the game, you might simply want to avoid absolutely everything. Follow the path into the fort and climb up the ladder. Once you get to the top, you will again be presented with a chest that has the right side of the Medallion.

There are some other things in this castle, but for the purpose of activating the Grand Lift of Dectus, that’s all you need. With that being said, you can then return to the Grand Lift and activate it. Once you reach the Second Church of Marika, you will find Yura again. Upon which you will have to talk to him again. He is in bad shape and talks about Eleonora.

Obtaining Yura’s Weapons

The next time you find Yura, he will be possessed and go by the name of Shabriri at the mountaintops of the Giants. Anyways, after Yuri says his final words during his encounter with Eleonora, you will be able to pick up his unique sword called Nagakiba.

Nagakiba Katana

Nagakiba Katana
The Katana is a perfect weapon for long-range attacks given its incredible length! It also does tremendous blood loss build-up!

The Nagakiba has incredible range and is probably the longest Katana out of every other Katana in the game. You can see the huge length difference, which will get you a lot of extra range. The Katana comes with a special skill called Piercing Fang, which makes a powerful thrust that cannot be blocked.

You can also use this Katana for a Samurai bleed build and level it up. Also, apply the double slash ash of war to it. That only costs six FP for the initial attack and then three for the follow-up. The rivers of blood move set will be your double slash attack.

Apply the Keen affinity because that’s going to give you an A-tier scaling for Dexterity at 24+. The attribute requirements are 18 Strength and 22 Dexterity.

The Katana will also cause a blood loss build-up at a rating of 45. However, you can spec more into bleed with this if you want to, and you can add stuff like Seppuku on it as well. You can do so much with the Nagakiba Katana, such as applying blood affinity to it, which will drastically boost that blood loss build-up.

Rewards from Eleonora

Purifying Crystal Tear
The crystal tear can be used to increase the effects of Wondrous Physick.

Anyways, while at the Second Church of Marika, you’ll also be invaded by Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger. You can get some incredible rewards from her if you manage to defeat her. Once she is defeated, you get the Purifying Crystal Tear and Eleonora’s Poleblade. The Poleblade is the second-best bleed weapon that you should go for because it makes insane blood loss, and the attacks on this weapon are extremely quick.

Eleonora’s Poleblade

Yura Quest Elden Ring
The Poleblade has pretty neat skills such as the Blood Blade Dance which does incredible damage to the enemy!

The weapon has got some decent damage, and it scales off of Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane. Not so much as Strength, the requirements are very minimal as you only need 12 Strength, 21 Dexterity, and 19 Arcane. It’s got a 77 blood loss build-up, and its skill is fantastic. Not only that, if you two-hand this weapon, the move set is so much fun. The Arcane on the weapon is for blood loss build-up, and the unique skill is called Blood Blade Dance.

The animation of the attack is super effective and badass, it lets you jump in front of the enemy and perform a whirlwind of attacks and then dash backward to evade any incoming attack. So the skill can help you deal damage and then get out of the way instantly to regroup.

You can deal with a lot of successive attacks with the Poleblade. Therefore, you can use something like the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, which is going to be based on a blood loss build-up for a bleed build. So there are lots of different things you can use with the Poleblade to make it even more powerful.

Mountaintops of the Giants

Alright, so the final step of the Yura Quest Elden Ring is going to be at the Mountaintops of the Giants, where you will find Yura again, except this time he will be possessed and called Shabriri. To climb the mountain is a challenge, so you need to activate the Grand Lift of Rold, and in order to activate the lift, you will need the Rold Medallion. You will get this Medallion after defeating Morgott, The Omen King, at the Elden Throne.

After you defeat him, you just head up the stairs and interact with the wall of thorns. After that, when you head back down the stairs and sit at the sight of grace, Melina will appear and give you the Rold Medallion.

Once you have it, you will now have to take it over to the Grand Lift of Rold, and once you reach the place, you will have to do the same thing that you did for the Grand Lift of Dectus by going up to the lift and choosing to hoist a medallion.

Yura or Shabriri’s Items

After defeating Shabriri, you can get the Ronin’s Armor set of Yura. We wrote a separate guide on the best armor for Samurai, and the Ronin Armor set has been neatly explained. You can head over to our Best Armor guide for Samurai and take a look at it yourself.

The Yura Quest Elden Ring does not need to be completed entirely in order to get the excellent items, weapons, and other stuff. If you go to the starting place of the quest where you interacted with Yura under the bridge. You will see his weapon lying on the ground next to the fireplace.

Furthermore, you can get all the other gear as well if you skip to those parts, the Second Church of Marika, for instance. We believe we have covered all of the steps needed to complete the quest and, therefore, have also given a brief overview of the weapons you can obtain from the quest.

Elden Ring has numerous secrets and quests that you can perform, so if you enjoyed the article on Yura’s Questlinebe sure to check out our other guides that will definitely help you in a lot of ways.
